American Wigeons

Here's a lovely pair of American Wigeons. These are quite commonly seen in a sheltered saltwater inlet I often visit. They like to forage among the plants on the water's surface.

  1. Glad to join your blog and thanks for following mine - you have some nice images - and I was glad to learn about the "tide app" - I don't get to the coast often, but when I do, I sometimes don't coordinate with the tides

  2. Thanks very much, Chris. I just added a picture of an egret I took sitting right outside a bait shop. Checked the tide and picked just the right time to head over. It's a very handy app.

Thanks for visiting and for your comments on the images. Hope to see you again.
